Just as all clients are required to agree to our terms and conditions, we have decided to set out some areas which we guarantee to all clients as this is only fair.
Server Uptime – 99.9% Guarantee
In the event that server uptime on your account’s server falls below 99.9% in any calendar month (as recorded by the independent off-network AKIS status page), then one full day’s service credit will be awarded for each hour of downtime below the 99.9% level. The maximum credit to be applied in any single calendar month shall not exceed 100% of that month’s service fees.
This credit is not automatic and must be claimed – all claims for credit under this guarantee should be submitted to our support helpdesk and must be submitted not later than 7 days after the month to which they relate. Service level uptime credits will then be applied to your next due hosting invoice when issued by us.
30 Day Money Back Guarantee
All AKIS Web Hosting packages include a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with the service for any reason, you can receive a full refund (minus any domain name registration charges) if you cancel your account within 30 days of the activation of your account. NB: This 30 day money back guarantee does NOT apply to domain name registration or web design services.
Technical Support
We will always provide the best support possible using methods via our online helpdesk system, including news and announcements, server status page, our comprehensive FAQ archives and primarily – our supoort request system. We guarantee that all support queries will be answered within 12 hours although the vast majority of support requests are currently answered within 2 hours.
Data Protection
We agree never to sell, make public, or distribute your details that we keep with your account records. This information is for internal use and will never leave the company. Please see our privacy policy below for more information.
No Hidden Costs
We guarantee to charge you the price that you see on the website for our hosting packages with absolutely nothing added. There are no setup fees, admin fees, or other hidden costs that will be added at the last stage of ordering. In addition, since we are not VAT registered there is no VAT to be added – the price you see is the price you pay.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred and held securely online on servers in the UK and outside the European Economic Area (e.g. on our FreshBooks client management system). By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. We may collect and process the following data about you.

Website tracking
Visitors to this website are tracked for statistic purposes and data such as IP address, browser version, screen resolution and ISP hostname is collected. This information is used for analysis of webstats and is never made available to anyone outside of the company in any way, shape or form.
Client testimonials
We never publish client testimonials without seeking permission first. This will be done in the form of a personal email to ask whether we can use your comments on our website and/or promotional material. Testimonials submitted to hosting directories or other third party review websites will be assumed as safe to use without seeking permission first.
Ordering process & client records
During the order process we require clients to supply contact details such as their name, address, email and phone number. This information is for internal records only and will never be passed outside of the company. It is important that we have these details so clients can be contacted and payments verified.
Payments
All online purchases and invoice payments are carried out by a third party payment processor with the highest security in place. We do not have access to your card details in any shape or form at any time. Our online payments are currently handled by PayPal UK.
Security
All client information is kept in a secure database online with the necessary server protection measures in place. Some records are also stored offline in physically secure conditions. We do not store credit card details in any way, shape or form.
Changes to this document
From time to time this document may be changed. This will typically be communicated via the news section of the anthonykeenan.com website which clients are advised to check on a regular basis.
