After almost 14 years of business… 

As of July 2014 we are no longer taking on new website clients and are concentrating on servicing our existing client base websites and other business ventures.

In 2018 we will be closing completely, including to existing clients - all existing hosting clients will require to arrange alternative hosting upon their 2018 account renewal/expiry dates.  We will contact each Client in advance of their 2018 renewal to assist them in finding alternative hosting arrangements with another provider.

This is just to let clients know that we are in the process of moving from our current billing/invoicing system (FreshBooks) to a new system (Curdbee/Hiveage).

We expect this change to go live sometime late in February 2014 and at that time your invoices and related notifications etc will be in a different format.

As part of this move, our FreshBooks based support ticket system will be removed and all support requests revert to our online support form at: www.akishelpdesk.co.uk/request-support/
(95% of of clients never used the FreshBooks based support system anyway).

WordPressWe have decided to stop posting a website news announcement every time a WordPress update is released. As usual, we will continue to upgrade all AKIS full service clients WordPress installations in the usual way (after checking for Theme & Plugin incompatibilities, etc). AKIS Hosting / Self-Service clients themselves remain responsible for their own monitoring/checking and installation of WordPress updates as they arise.
